Why Ergane?
The name Ergane (air-GAH-nay):
comes from Athena Ergane, one of the oldest titles given to Athena in ancient Greece.
Derived from the Greek word ergon, meaning "work," the title translates roughly as Athena the Worker or Athena the Craftswoman. She was revered as the patroness of builders, artists, weavers, sculptors, and all who sought mastery of their craft.
That spirit remains at the heart of Ergane today.
